6 month Anniversary

To celebrate our 6 month anniversary we decided to take a drive to a village we'd never been to before. We went to Karditsa, which is in the middle of Greece, it has a lake nearby and mountains. We saw a lake on the map, but we had no idea how big it was. So, we drove and drove and finally came to a nice retention pond. There was a cafe, with tables outside along the water and Oresti announced that this must be the lake. I said no, it can't be. But Oresti was certain that this lake was man-made, so this must be it. So we got out, took pictures in front of the lovely retention pond and went to sit at the cafe. I insisted that he ask the waiter if this was the lake. So, when he did, the waiter very nicely said, no this is very small, the lake is further down the road:) haha! Imagine if we had driven all that way to have a picnic by the retention pond!
So, we kept driving and found a very large lake, with huge snow covered mountains behind it. It was so beautiful! We had a nice anniversary picnic there.
