Not only was this past Sunday my first Mother's Day, but it was also Luli's baptism. She was such a good little girl, no crying at all and she listened intensly to every word the pastor said. She loved the water (no surprise since she loves her baths). And it was just a special moment for us thinking about how this is the church that Oresti came to and first believed, its the church we met at, its the church we were married at, its the church that saw me through my whole pregnancy and rejoiced with us at the birth of Luljeta, and now its the church where Luli was baptised. Here are some pictures from the day. Notice how Luli stares at our pastor Luli was splish splashing her feet the whole time Our first Mother's Day
We happily wed in October 2006 and began our life together in Volos, Greece. We were blessed by the arrival of our daughter, Luljeta, in October 2007 and then made the move to the United States in 2008. Then in November 2009 we received a double blessing of twin girls, Sofia and Mira! Now we are expecting another little Metka in May 2011. Four kids here we come! Life is crazy but we feel so blessed with what God has given us!
